The Kruger National Park is situated on the North Est of South Africa and represents one of the most famous National Reserve in Africa.

This magic place, opened to the public since 1926, is a must do for anyone dreaming of doing a safari. The Park goes up to 360 km North and 65km from East to West.
Landscapes and rivers offers many opportunities to encounter animals who are always looking for water and some shades to hide from the heat.

Animals are of course totally wild and move all around in the National Park, sometimes crossing a road very close to your vehicle, which can be very exciting, especially when it’s a big bull elephant or a big cat such as a leopard or lion.

Animals are used to vehicle so they don’t really pay attention to you if you respect the rules given by your guide.
Sometimes when the sun is very hot, I have seen lions coming to lay down less a meter from our vehicle to get some shade and avoid the heat!

The size of the Park (more than 2 millions hectares) allows you to discover very different shape of landscapes and habitat depending if you are in the North, South or middle of the park.

You can also find some nice waterholes in the Park, and if you have the right guide who knows well the area and the animals habits, and if you are a bit patient you can see some awesome sightings there.
The access to the Park is open through different gates under specific hours and with guardians. Once you are in , the real adventures can begin..

Official creation of the Park
In 1926, the government decide to name the Park, Kruger National Park, and it opens to the public who were now allowed to come and visit in.
In 2001, he has been elected as a Protected Biosphere by Unesco.
The Park features more than 500 species of birds, which half of it is endemic to the Park. Wildlife there is abundant and attract tourists from all over the world and lots of professional or amateurs photographers.
